My name is Michela, an experienced, professional and reliable EN>IT and ES>IT translator, localizer and AVT expert with a career spanning over 18 years.
I have acquired an extensive, in-depth experience in localization and technical as well as literary translation. My fields of expertise are Information Technology, tourism, marketing, electronics, and many others. Some of my final customer are major big-tech companies and online travel platforms.
For more than 12 years, I have also been working as a subtitler for prominent global companies, specializing in voiceover for top-notch players. I love audiovisual translation so much that I am also a volunteer translator for TED Talks.
After a BA cum laude in Applied Language Studies at the University of Milan, I have been pursuing a path of lifelong learning. On December 2024 I accomplished the Master in Translation at Scuola Holden in Turin. Having obtained AVTPro Subtitling Basic English into Italian and RWS MTPE Certifications, I am certified in subtitling and machine-translation post-editing.

Why “Wordland Translation”
Just like Alice, I have followed the White Rabbit and found my Wonderland in the land of words. This is where the name “Wordland Translation” comes from, getting together my love for language, translation and writing – as well as for anything “curioser and curioser”.
